Goodbye fetid fountain?
Goodbye used condoms?
Goodbye men exchanging oral sex in the woods?
If you have ever trekked to the Bed Stuy Home Depot, or transferred from the G train to the SBS, you have stood by this nursing home.
That will soon change.
For the next few years it will be a destruction and construction site. Then it will be a massive market rate building.

About 3 years ago, it sold for $580k
Then it sold for $700k on 10/30/2014

When I walked past the Crown Heights Beauty Supply Store at St Johns and Nostrand today, it was emptied of supplies and the shelves were totally bare. Looked like the store had either been ransacked and robbed or that it is going out of business.

I overheard someone say that the Pathmark should close by ...

There was a fire at Lincoln Postal this evening. Smoke was seen coming out above the storefront, and the fire dept was called. A few dozen fire fighters arrived in six trucks. They opened up the walls and sprayed the smoldering area. The damage appears to be cosmetic, but Lincoln Postal will probably be closed ...
