Hi twitterers - I think we finally stepped into the 21st century on the whole twitter thing. We created a #brooklynian twitter group, of sorts:

If you tag your tweets with #brooklynian, they should show up on that feed (NOT immediately, since there may be a delay while feedburner updates).

Eventually we'll move this to a new home. Now it's just living on this test page.

I am concerned about the poor and biased moderation of dailyheights. On December 8th, dailyheights made the following post:

“Dexter, let it go. You made your point and time to move on. I'm locking this thread.”

It is odd and clearly biased that dailyheights was very comfortable letting flexichick, brownstoneJew, EasilyFound and many others be rude and snarky to me, but once some posters actually engaged in conversation and agreed with me, dailyheights immediately took the cowardly road of placing some sort of blame on me and locking the thread. I guess it is the Brooklynian policy that staying on topic and being polite is banned and calling people stupid and being snarky and rude is encouraged. Dailyheights is a very poor moderator/administrator and should be stripped of his silly and biased internet muscles. What a coward dailyheights is.

So my question is, if Dailyheights is going to publicly blame me for something and lock a thread, shouldn’t he give a reason? If a rule has been broken, shouldn't that be clearly stated by this poor moderator? Or is it that having George W. Bush on your avatar allows Brooklynian moderators to be rude and gang up on you?

1. Is brooklynpotter a moderator or administrator?, and
2. Is it really against the Brooklynian rules to have George W. Bush on your avatar?

Going through the archives, I have seen Obama on several avatars and I even saw what appeared to be a moderator who had Obama on an avatar. I looked through the rules of the Brooklynian and couldn’t find anything saying that George W. Bush is banned from avatars.

Could somebody please let me know the official position of the Brooklynian regarding this matter?

How long to messages stay in your Outbox before they get sent and appear in your Sent Box?

Suggestion - rework the page so that the search button is more noticeable. At quick glance, my first thought would be that the yellow box at top (brooklynian by mail) was the search button.

you have to search just to find the search button

i know it's a small thing, but could you fix the clock thingie so the actual time apears alongside of people's postings?
