and yet this is your first time posting on the board?

regardless, i'm pretty tired of developers doing illegal crap like this without incident--i live on 15th where, if anyone remembers, developers turned a parking lot into a hideous coop building, lied about everything, including permits and stop work orders, and destroyed numerous backyards behind the property and cracked an old coop building and a church in the process. forgive me if i'm a bit skeptical

The officers should fire off a flare, announcing to the world that they are about to write a ticket. Then, they should stand next to the car for 5 minutes so that the grace period is observed.

By that same token (the flag above) I'd add that all ticket agents be made to wear a Japanese nobori strapped to their back so you can clearly see them coming down the block.

Went this week and the food was fantastic. I can't wait to try more from their menu - so many choices that look great. And the space inside is really lovely.

They intentionally are going for the soft opening. They said they wanted to work out kinks first. They also said that the seating in the outdoor space that used to serve as a back patio for Loki will now be for the restaurant.

I am not really a fan of Loki, but I love a new option to have dinner outside when the weather is nice, so I am very excited about this.

It does seem to be in an odd place, but with the right advertising and word of mouth this place could be a great addition in the neighborhood. Also, they have a bit posted about the history of the building - it was some sort of storage and transfer station, not a carriage house. Very interesting if you're into that kind of thing.

It is clear to me that it doesn't matter which side of the sidewalk the dog is on as long as the leash is fully unrolled and serves to knock everyone else off of the sidewalk. this occurs 24/7 in Brooklyn.

I don't know why dogs aren't required to only walk in bike lanes and their owners in the middle of the street. This would solve a lot of problems and would leave the sidewalks open to the civilized.

This civilized dog owner thinks that in a perfect world we could neuter and muzzle some humans but alas my dream will not come true either

Hahahaha!

Yeah, some people are inconsiderate but it's definitely not limited to a few dog owners (like those with flexi-leashes, gah). Plenty of people without a dog and with/without a stroller/cart meander from side to side or just run into you. Some people suck more than others. We live in a crowded city so we have to deal with it more.

Where I walk with my dog depends on many things, but the general idea is to put as much space as possible between us and others. When the sidewalk is crowded, I always short-leash the dog (ie, hold it so that he's by my side with no slack).
