Are there any decent places in the Slope where I can have a proper drunk brunch without destroying my wallet? Thanks

Sotto Voce has unlimited mimosas, bloody mary's or cheap champagne. Take advantage of the unlimited deal...it will help you get the food down. Patois on smith st. has similar deal and the food is great.

I'd say Scottadito also. They have a great brunch and organic eggs and a very nice atmosphere. It's $12.

Aunt Suzy's also has a champagne brunch buffet for $15 but if you look outside there are usually $5 off coupons for the brunch and it is per person, not for the whole check. Also I can't remember the name of the place, but it's on 7th ave, not Sette but the other Italian place on the other corner of the block.

Thanks - Scottadito's perfect! Never been to Patois, I'll have to try it one weekend when it warms up a bit and I feel like a bit of a stroll.

I passed up making this comment a few days ago because it just sounds so low brow and it makes me out for being what I am, but:

You'll never catch a decent buzz at that place. You can drink all you want (they will let you sit there for a good while after breakfast, drinking mimosas, you know, if you are crass like that), but your mimosa ends up being equal parts champagne, orange juice and melting ice. And that's not good for anybody.

yeah sotto voce on 7th and something like 4th or 3rd st. The food's not great, but last time I was there I managed to get a hangover in the same day. Which sucked. Bottom line, unlimited drinks really meant unlimited. too bad the food's just fair to hardly-fair. (in my opinion)

Yeah, Sotto Voce is un-good, just go to a decent brunch and flask it.

Cool
