I think it's time to start learning to drive, but there aren't any school in Windsor Terrace, can anyon reccomend a school that comes out to our neighborhood? I would prefer to learn to drive in the newer cars not a 70's junk.

Although I don't have any recommendations, I'm pretty sure most driving schools will bring the car and pick you up from wherever you are. When my mom was practicing for her test, they came from Jersey.

I'd be surprised if there are many driving schools with a fleet of new cars. Teaching nervous novices how to drive the city streets is best done in junk.

I just remembered this guy Kenneth from Motor Car Driving School (on 5th ave close to flatbush) had a really good reputation, but he might be retired by now. I know he use to come up to Windsor Terrace.. Here's some info on him

Give him a call and see if he's still doing it

I had nothing but good experiences with U.S. Auto School.

Is U.S. Auto the place on Jay st right off Fulton St (in Downtown Brooklyn)? I actually took the 5 hour class there. They seemed like nice / smart people.

My stepdaughter took some driving lessons last month at Alma in Sunset Park, around 23rd St. and 4th Ave, and she thought they were fine. They were significantly cheaper than the places in Brooklyn Heights. They will pick you up and drop you off at your home.
