Is it a total madhouse on the weekend? I'm wondering if I should go down there or just order my costume online.

And is it going to be there all year round? Or are they tearing it down after Halloween? I'd love to have a local Ricky's to go to after Halloween is done.

Right next to Pintchik's..

Not sure how crowded it is on the weekend, but it looks pretty quiet on weekdays and evenings.

They close it after the season ends, so no, not year-round.

i don't understand why, if they ricky's owner lives in park slope, he doesn't think our borough is worthy of a ricky's store. i'm just sayin'.

Little does HE know.... Wink

What is the best place in Park Slope to buy a halloween costume? I'm guessing it's that card store on 7th ave by carroll street (directly across the street from key food) but I'm not sure.

This makes it sound like there's no branch of Ricky's halloween store Brooklyn.

There is a permanent one in Brooklyn Heights, I think, on Montague Street.
