Seems like the thread on last week's murders on St. Johns has taken off in the copter post. 4 pages later I understand there is talk of a community meeting, but are the electeds or cops going to host something to explain what happened, why there were no cops, and what is going on with crime in the hood...?
I had a long conversation this morning Detective Mclean, the community relations officer from the 77th. They are more than willing to meet with members of the St. John Pl. block association following the conclusion of the investigation. At the moment, the funerals for the two young men who were killed are going on, the families are grieving, and the NYPD is still investigating.
