Green-Wood cemetery video
(Greenwood Heights, Sunset Park)
by perato on Tue Dec 30, 08 3:51 pm |
Just saw this on Gothamist. Thirteen made a video of the tombs and catacombs at Green-Wood Cemetery. Cool stuff. They should do one on the Red Hook Grain Terminal.

Christmas Goose
(Greenwood Heights, Sunset Park)
by Smokey on Tue Dec 23, 08 4:01 pm |
Anybody know where I might be able to score a goose tomorrow? I know it's a little late but there's always hope. My little guy wanted to try it after seeing "A Christmas carol" last night. Thanks!

Garage for Inspection
(Greenwood Heights, Sunset Park)
by Smokey on Mon Dec 15, 08 10:21 am |
Anyone know an honest mechanic in the neighborhood who won't take me to the cleaners for all kinds of things I don't really need when I go for an annual inspection? In the past it's been an oil change, when I had less than 3,000 miles since the last one. Or an air filter, spark plugs, etc. I know I need to be safe but really.
