I know because every time my husband I pass it we say "I'm 10 Plaza street, look at me!" in a snotty hoity toity voice for no other reason than that they had their sidewalk repaved. The original name for Crown Heights - 19th century. Crown Heights is one of the first neighborhood names 'manufactured' by real estate developers...Crown is better than Crow, and Heights is better than Hill...

It seems so ironic that they changed the name to make it sound better, and yet, today the name has such a negative connotation resulting from the 1991 riots.

What happened to 301 and 303 Prospect Place? The addresses go from 299 to 305.
