Has anyone ever been there? Its really disgusting. They have friends that greet you while your eating (ROACHES ON THE TABLES) and when you tell the owner Malik he acts like there's something wrong with you. I walked out and he said that he was going to make the poor under paid waitress pay for the meal. I don't know about anyone else but I like my food roach free.

I've never eaten there (and now don't plan on it), but the parties can be kinda fun...

I don't know this place from a hole in the wall

but if you are going to bash a place like this you should at least have the spine to sign your name, guest.

otherwise who knows what axe you have to grind.

Well I have my reasons for not formally joining this board so weather or not I have a spine or not is irrelevant. If you want to eat there then go right ahead, I don't care I was just looking out for others. Maybe you will enjoy the roaches.

    Subject: I like that place.

I've been there a lot. I've watched them make the food. I've never seen roaches or scary cleanliness issues. I think their food is pretty good.

If you like the cuisine but don't like the restaurant, I recommend Maggie Brown's. Its a little more expensive, but also better food. Its one or two blocks west of 5 spot on Myrtle.
