Thanksgiving

Anyone know a restaurant/store that can cater a 5-person Thanksgiving dinner? Delivery/takeout... whatever is fine, as long as it's open on Thanksgiving day.

I usually go out and hit the Thanksgiving price fixe's in Manhattan.

Cool. I'd go with Crave if I were you (if these catering options are still valid, that is- they list Biscuit as an option). I had a really good meal there a few months ago, and I think it's definitely a standout among Brooklyn restaurants.

Neiman Marcus has a great Thanksgiving food section. Their Cajun fried turkey is out of this world!! I would highly recommend it.

Tempo (5th b/w Carroll & Garfield) is doing Thanksgiving catering. There's a menu in the take-out section ("Tempo Presto").

Let me hijack this thread and ask about restaurant options on Thanksgiving Day. Any recommendations?

This got me thinking about it (NYT):

Aaron Bashy, the owner of The Minnow and Bar Minnow in Park Slope, Brooklyn, said he closed for Thanksgiving when he had only The Minnow, which opened four years ago.

"I thought it was weird to do Thanksgiving dinner in a small fish restaurant," he said. "But now that we have Bar Minnow, which is more of a tavern and not just for fish, I think it will work. It's better in a tavern setting."

Mr. Bashy plans to offer a choice of wild turkey, roast pheasant or roast pork, along with the restaurant's signature whole roasted trout, at both The Minnow and Bar Minnow this year.Though Mr. Bashy was hesitant to serve Thanksgiving dinner in his fish restaurant, it seems that New Yorkers are far from unanimous when it comes to what to order at Thanksgiving.

I did Christmas Catfish Po'boys for dinner last year and it went over real big. You get sick of the same old same old year after year.

Kevin what is the difference betwen Christmas Catfish Po'boys and regular Catfish PoBoys?
