Equinox coming?

i heard a rumor that Equinox was moving into the slope. anyone know where? the d'ag's space might do, but i wonder if it'll be the meier bldg. (not technically the slope, i know). if you've heard anything, please post.

wow...i'm intrigued by this news. i go to nysc in the slope and haven't been happy and been wanting to switch...was thinking of crunch since i'm up in the north slope, but i'd consider equinox if it wasn't too expensive...

i think the eastern athletic club is literally right next to the meier building, so that's probably not it.

i'll be interested to see where it ends up...

I haven't heard anything about an Equinox coming...but I think the Dag space is way too small for a gym.
While Equinox is a great gym, I get a feeling that all the chains don't care about any location except Manhattan-it'll be good when it opens and then go downhill once it gets its membershp base

Actually there's another rumor that the widow of the Body Reserve owner (who apparently died recently) wants to sell the building. The staff of the BR is said to be also looking for another space to continue the business. I'm not sure what all this means, though it seems to me the Equinox rumor may have something to do with the BR rumor. I just hope the BR doesn't close up shop!

Subject: Any news on Equinox

I know a lot of people who would be pleased about an Equinox gym in the North Slope (I am one of them). With everyone moving into One Hanson Place and the other developments in the area, an Equinox would be ideal. Any more rumors on this?
