i go to prospect park every weekday with my pup b/w 6 and 7. she's a brown/brindle pit bull named stringer. anyone else frequent the park at this time?

    I'm sometimes there at that time in the morning, and definitely in the afternoon - usually at nethermead.

    where is nethermead? if i enter the park at the grand army plaza entrance, is it to the right or the left?

    nethermead from GAP:
    walk down the long meadow and near the picnic house take one of the paths through the woods to your left - either the one before the dog beach, or immediately after the dog beach if you're coming from GAP.

    I think it's marked on those maps at the entrances. You can also curve around the paths that go by the Audobon place, but that's harder to describe...

    It's not super close, but there is more off-leash afternoon activity there
