Appliance repair??

The expensive new vacuum worked wonders for about 18 months, but now two belts have slipped out of place and I can't figure out what was ever holding them in place in the first place.

Anybody got a recommendation for vacuum repairs?

And while we're at it, the over-the-range microwave makes disturbing grinding noises when used for anything other than storage for recycled takeout food containers. This one needs a house call. Thank you for your suggestions.

There's a store that repairs vacuum cleaners on 7th Avenue and about 14th. f

We've had very good at-home service from Dial Appliance Repair for stoves and refrigerators, over a lot of years. Never needed service for our microwave.

    Their number is 718 368 1512.

Subject: the vacuum repair shop on 7th ave & 11th

We have brought our vacuum there twice, once to fix it, and once just for a general clean out/overhaul. Both times i thought the price was really fair.

For vacuum repair-go to Brooke Vacuums on 7th Avenue in the teens-they do a great job and are fair and honest. they used to come to your house and pick up your broken vacuum-not sure if they still do that. But, call them: 718-832-0060

For other appliance repair-I have had very good experiences with Accurate Appliance Repair. they have come out to fix my dishwasher and the washer/drier shared by all in my building. I have recommended them to others who were also pleased. They can usually come out the day after you call them:
    718-236-7718

Just for the record, i am in no way affiliated with either company listed above-I have just had good experiences with them both over the years as a consumer.

Can't recommend Dial, I had a bad experience with them, they are too expensive, and they have horrable customer service.
