Leather coat repair?

I have a great old leather coat/jacket that is in dire need of some repair. Any recommendations?

I used the cleaner/tailor on 9th street bewteen 5th and 6th to repair a find from the salvation army.. a sheepskin coat... they might have "sent it out" for the repair but the price was reasonable and it was done very well. I would at least bring it to them and have a conversation.
