Anybody know what was going on on St Johns between Underhill and Wash. tonight? They had a couple cop cars and it looked like they were arresting a couple guys. There was a pretty big crowd outside when I walked by.

Doesn't our district vote in the school on Underhill and St Marks? I know I did. Is there another polling place on St Johns? I can't think of an appropriate venue on that block.

And the "incident", whatever it was, was on your block. I guess it still couldn't have been a polling spot. I also guess underhill is the dividing line for our election districts, huh?

I was sent to Classon also - and I live across from the school on Underhill and St. Marks

More evidence that Underhill is the dividing line between electoral districts.

I saw a dude getting arrested on the corner of Flatbush and Plaza Street. He had just tried to mug a pizza delivery dude. Two cops swooped in with their big cop van and blocked Plaza Street.

This was between 7:30 and 8. Maybe there was a crackdown in the hood tonight.

Maybe state assembly district 52 (represented by Joan Millman) voted at the school on Underhill, while state assembly district 57 (represented by Roger Green) voted at the other school?

I think that's what I gathered from this site:

    http://map01.elections.state.ny.us/boe/Main.asp

    Does anyone actually know?

Definitely wasn't voting related. There were two cops standing on each side of these two guys, and there were a good bit of people outside watching like something had gone down.

Didn't look like a huge deal, but I was just curious. It was around 8pm close to Wash. on St Johns.

I am part of District 52 (on the corner of Eastern and Underhill), but my voting location is the Brooklyn Museum. Perhaps there is more than one voting location in some districts?

That would make sense since I am in Assembly District 57 (Elect. 36)
