cheap apts

my friend just scored a 800 1-br on franklin and lincoln near where i live now - does anyone have a hints or clues? i'd really appreciate it

1 br or 2-room studio?

1 bedroom for 800 sounds like bullshit to me. even a 2-room studio for that much sounds like bullshit.

i'm not sure, i was skeptical too but i was thinking if it was a small studio being paraded as a 1-br then it might be reasonable - i'm just looking for a 2-3 bedroom in the area that's less than or close to 2000, i'm gonna try those realtors on franklin before lincoln next to the fried chicken place - any other ideas?

i'm pretty sure you can get a 2 bedroom for 2000 in crown heights pretty easily

Way under $2k, easy. In fact, you shouldn't have a hell of a lot of difficulty finding a 2 bedroom in Prospect Heights for that.

I live in a 2/3conv bdr duplex with a back yard on Franklin Ave between Bedford and Rogers and our rent is $1500/month. Actually the apartment next to us on the ground floor is available for rent, its a mirror of our apartment. The apartments could do with a remodel and the fixtures are cheap but for the price it really is a diamond in the rough.
