As the commentor below the article noted, the writer forgot to mention Le Gamin and The Usual. Still, I'm glad for this exposure and am happy to see Vanderbilt change, IMO, for the better. I still can't believe that a country and western bar is on the way.

Haven't heard anything about this. I hope who(m)ever the new renters are plan on burning a freaking bonfire-size amount of sage to eradicate the vibes that place had. Or perhaps perform an exorcism.

The article mentioned Garden Cafe, but every time I've passed it, it was locked up tight. What are its hours?

i thought it only appeared closed because they have the windows covered, or the shades drawn or something. i think they're closed mondays.
