There was another thread on this topic a few weeks ago. I am not good at searching on this board. I am a very big fan of the Glasser/Gordon practice. They are both very good with children, and their parents. Check them out.

I've had excellent experiences with Drs. Glaser and Gordon.

They are both pretty low key, easy to talk to and their practise is well run.
If you have an appointment, you are not kept waiting long.

My kids are older, they they will keep kids in their practice pretty much
    through college.

And Glaser/Gordon have a new doc working with them part-time. Dr. Papageorge. She will be away on maternity leave starting in April but we've seen her three times and really like her--very easy going and attentive.

Another fan of Glaser's practice. She was my son's doctor from birth until early teens. I have also dealt with pediatricians at Methodist Hospital (trip to the emergency room for stitches) and the 7th Street clinic (simple bad colds that require antibiotics) and they've all been very good.

We just picked a ped for our newborn twin boys. We posted on PSP and Brooklyn Parents of Twins (and here as well). Most people recommended two practices: Drs Glaser/Gorden/Papageorge and Pediatric Associates on Plaza St. We visited both practices and liked them both a lot. We ended up going with Pediatric Associates bc they have evening and weekend hours and a whole lot of pediatricians. I think either practice would be a great choice.
