551 Prospect Place now 523 Prospect Place?

I live at 551 Prospect Place and I'm pretty curious about this address change. Anyone have any info on it?

Its going to cause the residences a lot of grief as far as mail and misc. deliveries go for a while and I'd really love to know the reason behind it.
