I've forgotten their name, pathetically. Natural something. They're near 3Ds between St. Johns and Sterling on Washington. I think they might do vegan only, but I was confused and it was late. most of the signs are hand lettered.

the interior is brightly lit and clean. they have fresh juices and prepared foods in a counter (similar to 3Ds). lots of low-fat and vegan pastries. also some dry/non-perishable goods - soy milk, granola bars, etc.

I was just checking the place out after work - I got home around 9:45 p.m. and they were still open. then I noticed that they had patties so I bought a soy patty. not awesome. they also said they have veggie, chicken & fish patties, and I think the guy said it was mock meat. maybe I'll try one of those next time, cause the soy wasn't doing it for me (and I love tofu).

that's all.

(oh, if someone knows their name, I'll edit the title of the post)

I don't remember the name, either. It's right next to Ripple. I tried one of the pea veggie patties. It was pretty bad, sad to say.

careful, you guys. Or the Natural Something owner will post here, ranting that any allegation that his soy-patties are bad defies all logic and warrants a defense.

Soy patties are bad by definition. It's nothing special about this place.

I disagree that soy patties are inherently bad. I've had plenty of tasty ones - it all depends on the spices and the crust.

    Subject: Soy

remember that soy is the biggest reason for the deforestation of the amazon's, so there you go vegan's!!

    you're way off, sneakyonstmarks.

From the Tropical Rainforest Coalition—Top reasons for Amazon rainforest deforestation:

    1. Clearing for cattle pasture
    2. Colonization and subsequent subsistence agriculture
    3. Infrastructure improvements
    4. Commercial agriculture
    5. Logging

I beg to differ! I stopped last night around 9 to purchase a smoothy. The owner (I assume) was so kind and pleasant. I purchased a slice of sweet potato pie too and was impressed with how good it was.

I'm surprised by the "soy patties are bad" comment. I've always liked the ones at Healthy Nibbles.
