Moving Day!

Hey Folks!

I am moving from North slope to South slope - oh the joys! We plan to do a lot of the moving ourselves with my parents' Ford Explorer but...

For the heavy stuff we are trying to find some good folks who will move us! We need them to move our stuff out, drive it, then move our stuff in for us.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks a bundle!

We've used Move Co Movers about 5 times. they show up when they say they will and charge what they say they will.

No matter who you use you should ask them about doing the whole move as your going to probably pay a 3 or 4 hour minimum regardless.

I used these guys: http://www.nycityvan.com/ twice in the last year and they rock. I moved from North to South Slope and paid $200 for two guys with a truck - they have a minimum or $200, but it took less than the four hours allotted.

I used Top Hat Movers, 722-3390. They're local and did a great job for me

To anyone who has had an in-PS move (like South - North Slope or something, not long distance in otherwords), about how much did you pay?

    Just curious.

We moved three blocks (from South Slope to....slightly norther South Slope). Moved from a third floor walkup to a third floor walkup and paid about $400 -500 total for four guys.
