best authentic mexican delivery in park slope?

i'm jonesing tonight.

for mexican, i like la taqueria

also good in the hood is chiles and chocolate which is oaxacan.

both on 7th near berkeley and lincoln.

Tacos Nuevo Mexico is as close as you get to decent mex, even then it depends on what you order. The burritos at La Taqueria are decent and they are big.

Ditto La Taqueria and Tacos NM. I also like Taqueria DF

i ended up going with Tacos Nuevo Mexico, and their Pollo a la Mexican was nothing short of amazing.

I ordered delivery from DF last night .
Shared with Papi Chulo a spicy pork burrito and a goat burrito.
Sadly, it was pretty mediocre and didn't satisfy. Still I'll go back and try other dishes before I rule them out.

rut roh. I forgot what i got delivered - maybe a beef or chicken quesadilla + guac. Mine was pretty good.

sorry I'm coming into this late.

i had one meal at DF, and like you, mama, i found it to be mediocre at best. perhaps hubby and i didn't try the correct dishes, but there wasn't any "oomph" to anything we ate. based on some rave reviews on another board i dragged hubby there and he was extremely disappointed in the choice. oops, can't win them all

haven't tried Tacos Nuevo Mexico but am looking forward to giving them a try. thanks for the rec. what do you suggest we try?

At Tacos Nuevo I love their goat tacos in particular, but most tacos are very good. I'd suggest for your first visit (and they do delivery!!) that you get a few different tacos so you get a full range of the meats they have. The spicy pork, goat, steak etc.

I've had their huaraches and the first one I had was kinda dry, but the last two times I ordered they were very good. They have soups & specials too.
A decent but dry tamale also. Definitely need to hit that up with some salsa.

couldn't get tacos out of my head today.

hubby and i went for NM delivery tonight. we got chicken, spicy pork, and beef with sauce tacos. we also ordered an amazingly tasty appy item called "gringas" ("a flour tortilla stuffed with cheese, chopped roast pork & diced pineapple, then grilled to the melting point")

the food was really tasty. it came a little cold, but i don't blame anyone for that -- the weather tonight is N-A-S-T-Y. i mention it, though, because i'm guessing that going there for a meal will make the food that much tastier! hubby and i plan a trip to 5th ave & 11th st in the near future to take advantage.

The new restaurant on 5th and 12th (?) "Piramid" was great and they deliver as well. Right next to the bar "commonwelth".
