There's about a 100% chance that this is a hoax put on by these kids. That being said, they did a good job - you can see just enough to be creeped out, but not enough to spot the fakery.

Although it would be pretty cool if this was some sort of viral marketing bit that spiraled out of control.

I'm also not so sure that Salta is a huge tourist spot. then again, the last time I was there was close to 20 years ago. Jujuy is way more fun.
