Walk-In Clinic or Urgent Care Facicilty

IF I cant get me a Drs apt today I need to goto a Walk-In Clinic or Urgent Care Facicilty. Anyone know of one (or many) in the 11238 "area" (walking distance would be nice). I dont need to goto the hospital. :?

    What does it take to get a same day appt in this town? ARGH!

    It's obviously not within walking distance from PH (it's a short car-service trip), but I've been to the walk-in medical clinic at 200 Clinton Street, corner of Atlantic (where Brooklyn Heights meets Cobble Hill), several times over the years when I just couldn't get in to see a doctor.

    Although, I have had reasonbly good luck in convincing my doctor that I was on death's door and thus forcing him/her to fit me in somehow. Sometimes you need to play-up how sick you really are.

    But avoid the emergency room at all costs, you'll just get sicker while you're waiting.

    I actually found http://www.interfaithmedical.com/ but they didnt take my insurance...BAH!!! :x

    Also, you might try Dr. Elliot Schuster at 135 Eastern Parkway. I was able to get an appointment one time with him when I had a horrific cold. However, he wanted me to change him to be my primary care physician ... which I wouldn't do ... I just wanted to pay him cash. But he wouldn't accept it (is THAT weird or WHAT?). But now, looking back, I realize that with some insurance plans, you can change your PCP as much as often as you like ... even if it's just for a day or so.
