in the wall

if you suspect that something in the wall that was once alive is now dead, what to do?

do you know where its coming from. with sheetrock walls its pretty easy to put it back in. cut with a saw. keep that section. once dead rat or something is removed. put that piece back in and plaster away.

if piece doesn't go back well, put a piece of wood as support between the walls and screw it onto there and than plaster.

or wait a week and the smell will be gone.
(a mouse died in my wall, phewwww)

For your sake, I hope there are more bugs in your building. They'll eat the decomposing flesh and the smell will be gone much quicker! That's nature at work, it cleans up after itself.

Cry until the scent dies too.

Drill a hole and sprinkle in some lye?

the smell is less and less each day. the 2 cats have been staring at the wall 24/7 for the last week - but it's difficult to figure out exactly where the stink is coming from.
