Peeping Tom or possible thief on rooftops on Monday night

Looking out of our rear facing window two nights ago (March 31st) my son saw a man, holding up to his face what appeared to be bioculars, walking back and forth across the rooftops of houses on the Lincoln Place block between Nostrand and New York Avenues. He was looking across the yards at houses on Saint Johns between Nostrand and New York.

Did you call the police? There have been shootings atop the buildings over here on St. Marks in the not too distant past...

Yes I called th 77th. They said they would send someone to check it out, I don't know if they actually did so.
Just wanted to let neighbors be aware...
