Bay Ridge Help

Hey,
I have been in the Slope for 8 years but would like to cut some rent. It looks like Bay Ridge has a lot of apts for rent. I'm looking at Bay Ridge PKWY between 3/4..Is that a good area? I work from home so would like to walking distance to coffee, food etc.. I'm also kinda used to the Park Slope nightlife. I don't expect the same. But are all the bars very different from the Slope? Or has their been an influx of younger non married people lately.

I live on that block and like it a lot. Bay Ridge is a great neighborhood--safe lots of good coffee shops and markets. I used to live in Manhattan but would never go back. The bar scene is different in BR, I think, than PS. More sports bars and less of the kind of general scene you get in PS. There are also good restaurants and just an all-around community/family vibe.
