I don't know about makeup but Rudy at Fez Salon in the Slope, I think its on 5th Ave and 4th Street, does GREAT hair. He styled my hair for a friends wedding and it was perfect. It was July, I have curly hair and it lasted all day and night. No frizz, no falling apart.
