art(ification)

i don't mean to sound like a fresh-off-the-boat gentrifier (although i s'pose that's what my neighbours think i am), but is there any art community in c h - especially around the area just east of the park ?

or even arts and crafts ?

there is PLUTO, a gallery on classon between prospect & park
their hours can be sporadic
but they have great shows
and attract a good crowd at openings

there are a bunch of us around
and i believe there are some gatherings of crafty types...
