Police Activity on Park btwn Franklin and Classon (05.07.08)

Anyone know whats going on right now on Park between Franklin and Classon?

Ive seen 4 cop cars, a NYPD helicopter and an emergency services vehicle pull up.

I noticed the police activity too, especially the NYPD chopper.

I was there right after this went down. There were a few more than 4 cars, more like 20+ and all the officers on foot that were in the area. The story I got was that there was a domestic dispute, police were called, the guy in the dispute ended up hitting one of the female officers that responded and then took off.

It didn't appear as though the guy was caught but I didn't stick around for that long to know if they got him in the end.

Thanks for posting this info... I heard the helicopters and was wondering what was up.
