Dog sitter
rosweed
We are looking for a dog sitter to care for our dog and cat while we're away. We need someone who can stay in our Crown Heights home. Obviously, they need to be reliable, trustworthy and must have a lot of references. Thanks!

arletteI am amazed you would trust a total stranger in your home while you are away. References or not. It wouldnt be me in this day and age. Maybe I have hadtoo many bad experiences with strangers working in my home while I was there furthermore not.I couldnt leave my home with my valuables , documents, bills, computer in the hands of a stranger. I certainly hope you rethink your decision.Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Then again , to each their own.
Hope you put away anything with social security numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, etc. because someone wont take it and use it right away but in a few weeks or months you might be in for a surprise. -

People let others stay in their homes all the time! Some people swap their apts with people from other countries, some have cat/dog sitters, and dont forget babysitters where you leave your CHILD with a stranger and they're in your home. Sometimes you gotta do it...You just need to be smart these days. I would leave a hidden camera somewhere and get a copy of the persons license as well as any other thing I could think of to assure my safety. -
arrbeccaKenneling at Puppy Paradise (out Flatbush Ave) is more cost effective and they've been really good with my dog. They kennel cats too. -
