fallen construction fence

I live near 23rd and 7th Ave. This is the third time in two months the obviously shoddily built and unattractive plywood construction fence on the corner of 23rd and 7th Ave. has partially fallen down. It seems like any gust of wind, down it goes. Not only dangerous but then you get to view the loveliness inside the pit. Standing water, tires, refuse, mud. I wish this crap had been pointed out during the photo-op that parcel of land had last week.(they even painted the fence-it had been heavily tagged- only b/c of the press, not for the aesthetic health of the 'hood).

    Call 311 each time!!!

Then call it into CB7 718-854-0003. They can then follow up with the DOB.

I actually have called 311 each time. They're pretty easy to deal with. I was venting, I'm sick of looking at that fence and the lousy construction quality. Whoever owns the land is serioulsy fortunate no one has been hurt each time a section blows down.

Yes, you are correct. New "owners" from the original of National Produce (which was the warehouse that use to be there)m, but they have been less than stellar in addressing quality of life issues with the neighbors.

Keep calling...and PM me when you do ;)
