Filming at Hoyt-Schemerhorn station

Does anyone know what was being filmed at Hoyt-Schemerhorn yesterday afternoon? There was a film crew on the unused Queens-bound platform and I noticed they had up a fake station sign up reading "Franklin"...

They are filming the remake of "Taking of Pelham 123 with Denzel Washington and John Travolta.

Why do people keep putting John Travolta in movies?

I mean, his part in Pulp Fiction was pretty freakin' great but after that he acted like "I'm the guy in pulp fiction that's pretty freakin' great."
