Infant Daycare near the D/M

I'm very excited, Brooklynians. After years of envying our Brooklyn friends as we schlepped home after work to Dutchess County (I know, I know), my wife and I FINALLY are moving to Brooklyn! We just got a place in Borough Park near the D/M.

Thing is, we need to find a nice, safe, affordable day care or babysitter for an infant starting in Sept/Oct. Does anyone know of a place? If not, maybe something off of the N, north of 36th St?

Thanks!

(P.S. No board for Borough Park? Where's the love?)

I think that doing a search of past posts will bring some information. I don't know Borough Park very well, but take a few walks around and you'll see a lot of signs for home daycare or daycare in churches/synagogues.

Also, you might consider choosing something on the way to work as well. That's what a lot of parents around here seem to do.

Infants are tough. After 10 months it gets easier. Good luck.

Thanks, Kikintina. We're definitely doing the post-trolling, neighborhood-strolling thing. With something like this, though, it would be great to know if anyone has a recommendation, just with there being so many dodgy daycare folk out there. Thanks again for the reply!
