any local pet food stores sell science diet feline r/d?

recently moved to the hood and we're not due for a vet visit until January, but i need the prescription pet food and i'm looking for someplace local that sells it.

in our last neighborhood, we could pre-order it at our local store without having to go through a vet. wondering if anyone does this around here?

check with nycpet. if not i know animal kind carries this.

stopped at nycpet today, but they don't carry the r/d, only the regular diet stuff. i'll try animal kind. thanks.

I don't think any pet store sells prescription food - I saw someone posted the Whiskers site - I don't think they carry any of the Science Diet foods. There are some online sites to get prescription food but you need a prescription (perhaps your old vet can fax it)
