Rants and Raves Thread

Remember that day a week ago or so that it was super windy?

Big thanks to the woman who helped me chase my mail down the wind tunnel that was 10th street. That was so kind- especially since all my cc info was in each of those envelopes. No way I would've gotten them all by myself.

That random act of kindness redeemed my whole day.

I hates vendors that think they can get away with throwing me under a bus on a conf call with attys from my office, co counsel AND our client.

I rave at my own ability to reposition said bus at their asses.

Rant- the fact that 6 months TO THE DAY, I created the original Rants and Raves, only to see it get buried into the depths of Brooklynian's basement and replaced by a newer, prettier rants and raves thread.

Rave- the fact that I really don't care! Going to meet a friend in the Slope who's treating me to dinner! :cheers: Gotta love friends with money...

Rant - My friend called me TODAY to cancel Thanksgiving plans while I was at work. If he called me, say on Monday, I could have arranged an alternative, but now it's too late.

Rave- I got a job today! A real one! That pays really well! With benefits in the future! And I got it because my co-workers wanted me there.
Manager: "She's here because they asked that I call her in. They really like her."
Supervisor: "Really? I'm impressed! They don't like ANYBODY!"
I'm popular!
