Incident on 12th Street last night around 1:30am?

My girlfriend woke me up after hearing something loud outside of our apartment on 12th street between 6th and 7th ave.

When we went to the window to see what was going on, we saw a cop get out of an unmarked car, point his gun at someone and yell "Police, don't move".

The person ran off through the houses and the cop sped away down our street. A few minutes later a couple of cruisers came down our street and back again with their lights on (but not sirens).

Did anyone else see this/know what happened? I haven't seen any police reports about it today...
