smells like snapple iced tea?

yes, there's this smell down here on 3rd ave, west side of the street around 35th street. have no idea what it is but it's there most days. anyone know?

When I attended Charles O. Dewey J.H.S. (on 40th Street) in the early 90's on our lunch break we would go buy Now & Laters from the Now & Laters factory which wasn't too far. Perhaps the smell is coming from the Now & Later factory. Mmmm...brings back memories.

Subject: Always Found The Smells Interesting On 4th Avenue While Pass

I too in the past was interested in the smell while passing thru the area on 4th Avenue.

I always thought it was also the bubble gum factory in the Bush Terminal Factory building.

It is a very interesting and very SWEET smell when it is at it's peak.

Yes in the past, the Bazooka Bubble Gum factory was located in the Bush Terminal Building on 3rd Avenue. It was very strong to have passed in the past. Don't think it is still around.

The smell might be from Virginia Dare, on 33rd and 3rd. They manufacture flavorings and extracts for food products. Who knew!
