Just a note to all of you gardeners and eco-conscious greenies:
Saturday,May 31 we're having a wildflower seed give-away. 2,000 packets each containing seeds for plants that bees favor when foraging have been donated by Haagen Dazs and will be given out on a first come/first served basis. Bees are disappearing worldwide. Honey Bees are responsible for pollinating 30% of our food crops. You can plainly see the problem and the need for planting a few wildflowers. Please pass the word. Artisan Market is located on the DeKalb Avenue sidewalk perimeter of Fort Greene Park- Saturdays 9-5.
