I watched Tuesday night's show and there were clearly shots of Prospect Park including the boathouse and the carousel, yet the whole show happened in Manhattan. WTF? I mean if you really want to substitute a place for Manhattan, go to Toronto.

Why send the business to Toronto ????

NYPD Blue was filmed in California ....

Brooklyn is outside of the jurisdiction of the SVU cops.

I believe there was an episode filmed on Park Place a year or so ago.

I was walking around prospect park no more than a month ago and I ran into the shoot in question - they were filming at the pavilion/carousel. That's pretty quick turn around.
