I've never seen so many parking spots in my life! I think half the population has left NYC.

The section of PS in which I live feels and sounds like an abandoned city - it's wondrous & beautifully eerie. If but only the arbitragers and their progeny would go away more often and stay away longer one could again begin to understand the reason we live here.

LOL! I have to agree. maybe the whole lift on alternate parking thing really didn't matter...the mad exodus for a long weekend is what we needed

No extra parking in Crown Heights. If anything, it is extra sucky. I guess we just ain't got the Hampton going crowd...

Yeah, it seems that the more money there is in the neighborhood, the more people leave on summer weekends. Years ago when I lived on 12th St. and 5th Ave., there was no change in the parking situation from weekdays to weekends, but for the past couple of years I've lived in the names a block from the park, and there is always parking on a summer weekend (until about 4:00-5:00 0n Sunday...then it's the worst of the week.)
