Subject: What's this talk of loft parties?
Hey everybody,Not long ago, I remember a mention of parties going on in the lofts near Dean, as well as yoga classes and such. Anyone want to share more info? Or does the fact that I not know already just mean I'm not supposed to know?

whatchuwantYea, I asked about that as well and never got an answer.... -
ridonkulousFunny! This feels like a certain plot line on The Burg. -
boogieknightButt Parties I call them - on Dean betw. Classon and Franklin a couple of those big warehhouse buildings definitely would host parties where ladies were admitted free if they wore lingerie and that sort of thing. Or they'd hire lady dancers. we used to get cards and fliers on our windshield all the time. We'd drive by and there'd be mobs of people hnaging outside on line or just catching a smoke. Then it kind of stopped.
But just yesterday we noticed a great old big mess of party favors and empty champagne bottles on the same block - so we think we missed one. -
ridonkulousThat sounds like an urban legend :P -
whatchuwantSounds like Ghetto Party.

Is your assumption based on the location or your perception of the party goers? -

pithanonWhatchuwant, do me a favor and edit your post by capitalizing "newbie". (As a momentary show of respec')
Thanks. -
whatchuwantSigh....in this town newbie, you must earn it. -

I think my fellow Newbie, Ridonkulous, may be correct.

I suspect that the legend and the label-maker of "Ghetto Party", share the same lower case source.
In any case, my respect for others is given unconditionally --- or as the case may be, so is my disrespect. That's how we roll in this town.
