    Subject: Pizza Place

I went in the day the place opened. And I think the guy was nervous. He warmed my pizza for about 30 seconds and then apologized for the delay. It was cold by the time I got it home. I'll definitely give it another shot though.

the pizza is definitely good at the new spot on franklin & Prospect. it's brick oven style and the chef seems to be trying out some different ideas ie. apple pie pizza & buffalo chicken pizza

I tried the place, it's decent. the rolls are on the very small side, about half the size of what you would get elsewhere, hopefully this will change. Glad to have it in the area.

There's also a brick oven pizza spot opening up on Nostrand and Union. Same guy who owns Tavern on Nostrand.

Ahhh so that's whats going in to the old Asian Jazz place. He should raid the cooks from Patsy Grimaldi's in DUMBO. Instant success!

Pizza Chief wanted at Trendy New Pizza Restaurant (Prospect Heights Brooklyn)
WTF is a Pizza Chief? Is that an Indian thing?
    Telecommuting is ok.
How the fuck do you telecommute to your job as a Pizza Chief?

I'm _so_ applying for this position.

Went to the new place over the weekend- had one sicilian (which was cut diagonally, pretty cool, pretty LARGE) and a regular. Both were pretty decent though not enough sauce for me. I like more than what your average pizza has.

    Will definately be back.
The guys who run it were really, really nice.

    $18 minumum on deliveries.

My kids insisted on Chicago60. :puker: It reminds them of the pizza back home in AZ.

Well, at least they saved you some money, though, right? I recently ordered online from Pappa Johns (after seeing the stupid commercials for YEARS) and the first thing I thought was that it tasted, looks, feels just like Chicago 60....but for over twice the price!!! Double :pukel: !!!!!

Yes, the cheapness factor is a big redeeming quality for Chicago60. I worked for Papa John's, among many other national pizza type places in AZ. Papa John's really did have better quality ingredients than the other folks. But I've never bother getting them out here. Why would I, when there are so many *good* pizza places?

    And Chicago60. :D

Had it the other day as well. It's good--seemed like decent people. (Oh hey, I'm new).
