Where can I get a copy of A Streetcar Named Desire&quo
snickers76
In the neighborhood. Blockbuster.com did a search and there aren't any stores that carry that title-I even checked my Mom's zip in a different part of Brooklyn. Do you think Barnes & Noble would have it? Or is that a long shot?
I need it by Monday.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

raxTo buy or to rent? Did you try Reel Life? Are you a Netflix member? If it's available, it will ship tomorrow from them and you'll likely get it Saturday -

I have Netflix but haven't tried this feature yet, mainly because my laptop sceen is not that big. Is the quality choppy? They just put out a $99 box to get instant movies on your TV thru Netflix. Like I need another excuse to keep my lazy ass in the house

Amazon was a good suggestion, if you're looking to buy. You can get it sent overnight -

Quality is fine, but they have a lot of "straight to DVD" films and lack a bunch of new stuff. They have a ton of TV programs available -- both current and 1970s and '80s programs. Looking through the TV programs is a trip down memory lane. -
daverSTELLA!
I know the NYPL library sytem has it on DVD, but if you need it by Monday you would need to go wherever it is rather than put it on hold. And do it today or tomorrow.

I'm not sure about the Brooklyn Library, but you could check.

rawHow I long for the days of Tower's video store and other media stores that croaked. Every once in a while I need hardcopy of an album or film and lately the only option is Virgin.
I have never used Watch-Movies.net, but they claim you can watch a Streetcar Named Desire right now:
