WWKIP stands for World Wide Knit In Public day (and not "Woolly War with Korean Itinerary Protocol")

This annual event is designed to encourage Public Display of Knitting (PDK) and all manner of Knitting in Public (KIP). For some it's a great opportunity to get out there and risk being asked what you are doing with all that yarn! For others it's a great excuse to smoke and knit at the same time. Bring your knitting project, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera, bottled water, a snack, and some cush for your tush. Please have a back-up plan in the event of rain.

When? Saturday, June 14, 2008, groups meet at 1:00 PM

Where? Brooklyn Museum of Art (FRONT STEPS!)
200 Eastern Parkway
Brooklyn , NY 11238
