seems there was a fight Sat night at 200 fifth. There was an ambulance and police cruiser. I heard it was two girls fighting. One went upside the others head with a bottle? Anyone have any more info?

this is not particularly surprising to me. i live close by and on thursday, friday, and saturday nights, i'm often woken up by the sounds of yelling and fighting. i've called the police on more than one occassion.

about a month ago i posted, in the union hall liquor license thread, that if the community board is concerned about noise and unpleasantness, they should look at 200 fifth first.

I agree. I live around the corner from 200 fifth. That place is a joke. On the weekends, I'll actually cross the street to avoid walking by it, to not have to deal with the people who congregate out in front of that place. It smells of old booze and most out there plowed and just being obnoxious. That place is so loud that I wondered the same thing; why all the focus and attention on Union Hall? That place is far worse in the noise department.

I have found no better place in Park Slope to watch sports...especially football.
