owner of freddy's dies?

i think i saw in a brooklyn paper this weekend that the owner of freddy's died after getting pneumonia after being hit by a bike...did anyone else see this? i searched to see if anyone else had posted this, and didn't come up with anything. am i crazy?

I'm going to Comedy Night tonight, so I'll ask. You might have this mixed up with longtime Freddy's patron Lee Houston, who did die after an illness this summer (I believe).

I don't know about the owner, but I heard that a long-time regular they referred to as Johnny Seatcovers died around noon on Nov. 16.

the owner of Freddy's, Frank Yost, did not die.
John Severino did.

I saw Frank tonight. He was pretty animated for a corpse.

Frank Yost is the undead, you can't kill him. Two long-time patrons have passed away. Lee Houston and most recently Johnny "Seat Covers" Severino.
