Loud music last night? (near McCarren park)

I live on Manhattan Ave between Nassau & Driggs and last night there was some kind of incredibly loud music, sounded like a live outdoor show to me. It wasn't even particularly good music, but the volume was horrendous. Went on from about 7 to 10pm (while I was trying to take a nap, of course).

Does anyone know who/what it was?

Every summer they do this to me. Thank God I'm moving out of Greenpoint soon. Not trying to be a killjoy - I don't have anything against live music - but for people who actually live here it is truly obnoxious.

ETA: To clarify, by "last night" I meant Friday, June 6th.

    Ah, here we go:

McCarren Park Pool is the culprit.

If by "bangin'" you mean "shitty" then yes, I agree.
