domestic violence spilling out onto Butler Place tonight

Started about 11:15 pm with a few women yelling in front of 20 Butler Place then others joined in front of the building, fists flying, woman jumped on guys back, young men walking down street got involved. NYPD showed up about 10 minutes later. Cops appeared to do a pretty good job of cooling down the crowd. A guy was taken away by police at 12:30am. All I heard was "he beats my sister". Sad and unsettling. I'm new to the area. Is this Summer in PH?

I just saw a woman running down Vanderbilt crying about her eye being damaged.

Yup, I heard the fighting too. Seemed to go on for a long time--I'm glad that the NYPD showed up and quieted things down.
